Teambuilding
Give us the staff you want to have trained and we will do that directly on top of the software we develop for you. With the technologies you use and the standards we have.
Nearsourcing
Okay, that term is a lazy invention. But if you consider offshoring, nearshoring or something else far away from your headquarter, we would like to be in the middle and take care that it works by our standards.
Workflow
With Agile Techniques, including Paircoding if possible
Test Driven
Using an own Solid Prototyping Toolkit for fast response
Using stable Open Source if available
Writing own software instead of loosing time
Providing own webservices or using other APIs to speed up
development with a colorful mixture of international people.
Technologies we know, recommend, use and like:
Rails, when ever we can do it.
Django, when Python is a must.
Wordpress and Drupal when requested or it just fits
Sinatra, when Rails is overkill.
Plain Rackwhen Sinatra is overkill.
Cucumber, Capybara, Rspec and Selenium for Tests
MySQL and PostgreSQL in most cases because it works.
MongoDB when document structure is relevant.
CouchDB when the application logic goes into the database.
RabbitMQ, Redis, Memcached and Drb to make things fast and flexible.
Jquery and Backbone-JS for UI Development.
HTML5 and CSS3 geek stuff, when the project relies on modern browsers.
Solr when we need a powerful search engine though we are good in SQL still
Capistrano and Chef for Setup and Deployment.
